Mount Pinatubo’s crater lake is the famous Central Luzon day trip from Clark. It is a 4x4-and-hike outing with an early start, not something you attach to a late casino night.
Book operators who publish the current trail rules, and treat weather cancellations as normal in the rainy months. The leisure park is a sensible sleep-before base because it is already north of Manila.
If the group includes anyone who only wanted a pool day, split the party. Pinatubo is optional; heat exhaustion is not.
