Manila to Clark Freeport without a ruined afternoon

The leisure park sits about 80 kilometres north of Manila, inside Clark Freeport. The old Fontana about page called that trip an hour and a half in light traffic. Light traffic is a condition, not a schedule.

Leave with a margin

Depart Manila after breakfast on a weekday, or before dawn on a Friday. NLEX is predictable until it is not: rain, a crash near a toll plaza, or a holiday exodus will erase the “hour and a half” line. Build a buffer you can spend at a rest stop, not at the gate after dark with hungry people.
